The FIELD Project was most beneficial in my development. The extensive eight-month journey gave me an opportunity to apply my studies, and work with a real brand in the industry. My classmates and I were privileged to work with the Canadian luxury outerwear retailer, Nobis.
Although my group did not win on presentation night, the FIELD Project kickstarted my career in fashion. When I graduated from the program, Nobis reached out to me. This led to a meeting with Vice President of Nobis. He was very impressed overall with the FIELD Project and all my classmates. He expressed he was notably impressed with me, and invited me to join the company.”

The FIELD Project gave me and my fellow students the opportunity to think outside of the classroom and take what we learned and apply it to a real-life scenario. The FIELD presentations give students an amazing opportunity to show industry professionals, professors and peers their ability to take the knowledge and skills they have been building and apply them to real life situations they will face in industry.
After my presentation, I was fortunate enough to be approached by my future boss at Grafton Apparel which led me to a career opportunity in menswear at the company as an Assistant Buyer. So, for me FIELD enabled me to demonstrate my skills and knowledge to prospective employers and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
